Abbreviated week this week due to work engagements and rain. Actually caught bp at Cotuit and watched Tom Windle start to warm before that game got whacked. Pete Wardell and I did a nice tour of the Cape trying to find another game. Got to Falmouth just in time for them to call the game

Zach Alford, 3B, Hyannis Harbor Hawks (Auburn) – Killed the ball in batting practice. Very good bat speed and flashed a plenty of power. Squared the ball up well but expanded his strike zone too often. Kept hands inside and drove a ball oppo into the RF gap. Glove looks improved over last year (when

Mason Robbins, OF, Bourne Braves (Southern Miss) – Very comfortable hitting to the opposite field and sent a homer out oppo on Wednesday. Also showed pull power in bp.
